Who We Are
SCOUT ABOUTS, an alumnae association, who through friendship, fellowship, education and selective volunteering is dedicated to continuing to further the Girl Scout Mission and support of the our Girl Scout council in numerous ways. SCOUT ABOUTS is open to anyone who is looking for more adult interaction, fun and adventure and who can participate full time or as an episodic member in many levels including as a financial donor to the council.
As an alumnae association of the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Council, we enjoy our sisterhood of friendship, of learning, and of having new experiences sometimes by taking short and maybe some longer trips together. Everyone is welcome to "make new friends and keep the old".
SCOUT ABOUTS come from far and wide with some having been Girls Scouts as youth and some were leaders for a few or many years. "I was never in Girl Scouts. Can I still join"? Of course you may as we believe in giving all the opportunities and wonderful experiences that are available by participating in SCOUT ABOUTS.
